Locally owned and operated physical therapy clinic, Therapy In Motion, welcomes April Gillen to it’s staff. Gillen was recently brought on to assume management of the office fulfilling multiple administrative roles at the Purcell clinic. As the primary receptionist, she is excited to help patients with their scheduling needs as well as coordinate patient care once they arrive at the clinic.
Gillen is also functioning as the clinic’s Patient Care Representative, a new position implemented by Therapy In Motion to maintain the highest level of customer service. In this role, April will regularly visit with patients to gather feedback about their experience and address any questions that may arise during the course of treatment.
Gillen brings over four years experience in health care administration. “I am trilled about the opportunity to work for Therapy In Motion, and look forward to being a integral part of serving our community’s health and rehabilitation needs.”, said Gillen upon accepting her new position. Clinical director and chief therapist, Toni Donahoo, D.P.T., adds, “We are excited to have April aboard. I believe she is a perfect fit and her warm personality will work wonders with our patients.”
Gillen is Purcell born and raised and many of her family members are still remaining and active in the community. Her husband T.J. coaches the OK Slam softball team, as well as umpires in the 12 and under girls softball league. Gillen adds about family, “I actually learned about Therapy In Motion through a family member ( grandparent?) who had a great experience.”
