During the month of March, Therapy In Motion’s professional staff provided free scoliosis screenings for over 250 sixth graders from the Blanchard, Newcastle, and Tuttle Schools. Screenings were administered to students with signed parental consent.
“It’s a general evaluation of the spine and posture,” said Newcastle Clinical Director Scott Boyles. “It’s a quick and easy, non-invasive way of finding and addressing spinal problems now and avoiding problems later in life. Our company believes strongly in being actively involved and giving back to the community,” Boyles said.
